Sean McManamy Named New President of HealthFitness

MINNEAPOLIS November 6, 2019 – Sean McManamy has been named President of HealthFitness, the industry leader in corporate fitness center management, injury prevention and treatment and wellness services that drive results through program integration and human connection. The announcement was made by Kevin Slawin, President and CEO of HealthFitness parent company Trustmark.
“Sean excels at building relationships, product development and in utilizing customer insights to establish a differentiated experience for our clients,” said Slawin. “He knows HealthFitness well and has demonstrated the leadership and business development success to help drive its growth.”
McManamy has held a series of senior leadership positions within both HealthFitness and Trustmark, most recently as the President of Trustmark Small Business Benefits. He rejoins Health Fitness as the industry leader is building upon their holistic approach by enhancing offerings not only in fitness and recreation management and wellness services but in injury prevention and treatment – a unique, defining market combination.

McManamy joined HealthFitness in 2010, serving first as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and then Senior Vice President of Strategy and Product. Prior to joining HealthFitness he held other leadership positions in Trustmark, including Second Vice President, Government Relations and as Vice President of Product Development and Marketing for Trustmark Health Benefits. McManamy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University.
