Two HealthFitness Client Sites Receive Locations of Excellence Award from MXM

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — January, 27, 2022 – HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, and a leading provider of comprehensive fitness solutions; is pleased to announce that two of its client sites, Beaumont Health Club, Rochester Hills, Mich.; and West Clermont HealthPlex, Cincinnati, Ohio; received the 2021 Annual MXM Locations of Excellence Award. The recognition is a testament to the outstanding ability of Beaumont Health Club and West Clermont HealthPlex to gather and act on member feedback and be leaders in providing an exceptional member experience.
Health clubs have been under an enormous strain the past two years. Creating thorough cleaning and safety protocols, keeping centers staffed appropriately and providing an exceptional customer experience has become even more important to gaining member loyalty and satisfaction during the pandemic. As standards and expectations have been raised, so have the challenges health clubs face in meeting them.
Debra Siena, Executive Director, Client Services, HealthFitness, who manages the Beaumont Health Club for Beaumont Health and the HealthPlex for the West Clermont School District, said, “It is outstanding for the Beaumont Health Club and the West Clermont HealthPlex to be two of the handful of health clubs nationwide to achieve this award. We take pride in serving our members with excellence. We greatly appreciate them recognizing the efforts of our teams.”
The health clubs awarded the MXM Locations of Excellence Award have set themselves apart from other health clubs and seen success as a result of innovation and their commitment to gaining and evaluating feedback in an effort to provide an optimal experience for their members.
“We are very proud of this award as it is based on satisfaction ratings from our members who use our clubs on a daily basis,” said Mike Combes, Senior Director of Program Management & Engagement. “It’s like the ‘People’s Choice Award’ for fitness and wellness centers.”
Winners are selected based upon two criteria:

- The winner must have at least 240 valid member feedback responses for the last six months of 2021.
- The winner must achieve an average score of 9 in four required categories, and one flex category score of 9.
